Chiefs Striker Progressing, Closes In On Return
Ryan Moon Is Closing In On A Kaizer Chiefs Return
Kaizer Chiefs striker, Ryan Moon, is closing in on a return to first team action as he picks up minutes in the Multichoice Diski Challenge for fitness.
The 21-year-old forward was declared fit to start playing again last month after he recovered from a long-term knee injury and it now looks as though he is getting closer to being available for Steve Komphela’s team.
Moon played during Chiefs’ 2-1 defeat against Cape Town City over the weekend as they dropped to 13th in the MDC table and head coach, Arthur Zwane, says that he’s doing well in his recovery.
Zwane told the club’s official website, “Moon is progressing well and showed signs of returning to full fitness.”
Chiefs’ only goalscorer in the game was young Asanda Dyani, who came on for Moon to pull one back for the Amakhosi, although they were unable to win the game.
