De Sa Studies Pirates, Ex-Player To Haunt Bucs?
Roger De Sa Is Plotting Orlando Pirates' Downfall
Platinum Stars head coach, Roger de Sa, says that he’s using the international break to plan the downfall of his former club, Orlando Pirates, in their next game.
Dikwena have drawn or lost all of their last 11 games in all competitions, and with seven Absa Premiership games played this season, they’ve picked up just two points.
Now, with De Sa being given some time to work with his players after taking over from Peter Butler recently, he says that they’re planning some friendly games as they look to get some of their new signings – including former Buccaneer, Lehlogonolo Masalesa – back in the fold. ‘Vieira’ made his debut against Sundowns recently.
Dikwena quoted their head coach saying “We play Pirates in three weeks' time and we have got enough time to study them, look at them and improve ourselves as well… Now it’s time to put work in certain areas that we need to improve on. And hopefully, we will improve.
"I am looking at two PSL friendlies. I want to give guys like Vieira a run to get match fitness and get two or more combinations. Hopefully, in the next weeks, we can work on a lot of things. I want to bring one or two players to create competitiveness as well.
"Hopefully Mwila comes back from injury. Vieira is another player that will be in contention. We gave him 15 minutes against Sundowns.”
Stars face Pirates on October 18th as they look for their first victory since beating SuperSport United back in May.
