Maritzburg Bring In Former Atletico Forward
Robin Ngalande Is Wanted By Maritzburg United
Maritzburg United are currently taking a look at former Atletico Madrid forward, Robin Ngalande, ahead of a possible return to the Absa Premiership.
Ngalande, 24, left Bidvest Wits last year to return to his home country with Masters Security on a short-term deal and went on to score a number of goals for the club as he was given the captain’s armband.
Now, with the forward looking to take the next step in his career, it seems as though new Maritzburg head coach, Fadlu Davids, has taken a liking to the attacker and is looking at bringing him on board.
The Team of Choice has already snapped up Mxolisi Kunene for the new season, while they are also linked with a move for Ziyaad Eksteen following his exit from Ajax Cape Town.
Under Davids’ tutelage, Maritzburg secured a top eight finish in 2016/17, and it appears that he feels the club can push on even further with a player of Ngalande’s ability.
