Bucs confirmed that midfielder Riyaad Norodien is nearing a return, while there are still doubts about Thamsanqa Sangweni.

“Riyaad Norodien is close to returning to full fitness. The news of the 22-year old’s imminent return will be welcomed by Micho Sredojevic and his technical team, as Pirates enter yet another gruelling month in the Absa Premiership.

“According to the Bucs medical team, the enterprising attacking midfielder has been training well and the Strength and Conditioning team is satisfied with his progress.

“Norodien has been out for over a month, having suffered a foot injury while on international duty with Bafana Bafana.

“Meanwhile, Thamsanqa Sangweni is still out of action as he continues to receive treatment on his knee,” Bucs confirmed on the club’s official website.

@Mondli hates qhabanga I'm a die hard bucs faithful brother n I've also learnt to analyse the game without feelings involved hence I'm saying watch the guy(Gabuza) closely when he plays. The guy can hold the ball well as a lone striker n wait for support but those who're supposed to come n just finish off his good job don't seem to understand the system that's y all the coaches play him game after game n change others. He's good at what he does simple

Nkatha and gabhuza are different strikers. Gabuza can't even make a decent cross. Nkatha scored more goals at chiefs than this cow at pirates. Nkatha even had more assists

@old dog, Wow mjita!! Yaz i just fail to believe ukuth your a true buccaneer cause the same cowbuza you talkin about is the same one that always cost us big time more especially in big matches when we play the likes of superspork, wits, sundowns by missing clear cut opportunities, hopefully you did watch pirates-wits game last saturdae #SomeFansThou

@greatdeals you're comparing 2different types of strikers n what exactly did mbesuma give to bucs? He didn't even see his contract through. Like I said watch Gabuza closely n see what he gives to bucs. He fits perfectly in any 4-5-1formation that's y coaches don't mind even if he doesn't give them as much goals coz he creates more than he scores. Good example is nkatha, at chiefs they wanted him out coz he's apparently a "Gabuza" type of a striker. Baxter knew exactly what was required from nkatha(just like Gabuza) hence he told chiefs fans that if nkatha leaves he'll also leave n when nkatha was still at chiefs Parker scored more than 12goals n when he left Parker scored only 3goals. Ndoro was playing 2nd choice to Gabuza when he left bucs n was also playing 2nd choice to nkatha in the Zimbabwe national team, now do you think all these coaches are fools?

@SowetoBoy I used to be one of those pple like you who criticized Gabuza until I asked myself(when Gabuza was playing ahead of ndoro), if all those coaches playing Gabuza were stupid/foolish? Also bear in mind that Shakes called Gabuza to the national team when he was a 3rd choice at bucs(actually not playing since we had Erasmus n majoro). Now im also challenging you to watch the guy closely n see what he brings to the team, I bet you'll be the one crying once he's injured believe me
