Pirates Coach Makes Promise To Supporters
Orlando Pirates Coach Has Made A Promise To Supporters
Orlando Pirates coach, Milutin Sredojevic, says he is aiming to make the club’s supporters happy again by achieving success with the team.
The Serbian mentor is aware of his technical team’s responsibility of having to turn the team’s fortunes, following a disappointing 2016/17 season at the Soweto giants.
So far this season under Sredojevic and Rhulani Mokwena, the Buccaneers have had a fairly good start to their 2017/18 Absa Premiership campaign, having secured one win and one draw in their first two league matches.
In an exclusive interview in edition 1038 of Soccer Laduma, Sredojevic has promised Bucs supporters that there will be an improvement in performance.
“The message to the supporters is very simple from my side. You have been the spiritual owners of this great club for the last 80 years. I’m fully aware of that because I meet you day in and day out wherever I go. I feel extremely responsible to give my best in every situation for you.
“As the driving force behind the club, you make me and you make us at the club push to our utmost limits to deliver for you. You have the right to expect this from us. I wake up every day with the sole purpose of adding something new and better to this great club. When I lay my head down at night, I assess if that has been achieved and how the next day I can improve on that again. I want to make Orlando Pirates smile again. Together, we will achieve that,” said the coach.
Pirates will resume their campaign with a home match against Ajax Cape Town, after the FIFA international break. Don’t miss out on the exclusive interview with Bucs’ head coach in edition 1038 of Soccer Laduma.
