Chiefs Confirm Arrival Of Cameroon Duo

Kaizer Chiefs Have Confirmed The Presence Of Julien Ebah & Christ Mbondi

By Soccer Laduma - Sep 20, 2017 11:29 AM
Kaizer Chiefs have two Cameroonian strikers, Christ Mbondi and Julien Ebah, on trial at the club at present.

The Siya crew reported on Tuesday that Ebah, 26, was on trial at Naturena, and his presence, along with Mbondi, has since been confirmed by the Glamour Boys themselves.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Meanwhile, as Football Manager Bobby Motaung recently promised, the search is still on for a good and experienced striker to join Chiefs’ first team. As a result, two Cameroonian forwards are presently on trial with Steve Komphela’s side.

The two are Christ Mbondi and Julien Jérôme Ebah Tobie. The first is 25-years-old and played in Europe for Sion in Switzerland. He most recently played for premier division side, Deportivo Capiatá in Paraguay.

Tobie, meanwhile, is 26-years-old has gained a few caps for the Cameroonian national team, scoring once. He last played for Kapaz, a club in the Azerbaijan premier league."

Motaung added, “We continue to assess strikers... We won’t just sign anybody. We need to be satisfied that we have found the right one.”

"The first (Christ) is 25-years-old and played in Europe for 'Sion' in Switzerland..." this is exactly what we need to get rid of all the bad luck we are currently facing, and maybe the Motaungs will finally repent!

What's the use of doing this Bobby? We know that you want Chiefs to go to NFD. Why are you giving other player a hope that they can play for Kaizer Chiefs? We know that you are not going to sign any of them, so please let the players go, don't waste their time.

Good luck to Chiefs on the search. But a guy who scores 6 goals in the whole season in Arzebijan is not inspiring unless they have perhaps a six team league there.
