Chiefs Trialists Stop Training
Kaizer Chiefs' Foreign Trialists Have Stopped Training With The Club
It looks like Mahamadou Traore and Tanaka Chinyahara will not be signing for Kaizer Chiefs, with the foreign duo having both stopped training with the Glamour Boys.
The Siya crew reported recently that Traore, from Mali, and Zimbabwean attacker, Chinyahara, were being assessed by Steve Komphela ahead of possible moves to the club, but it appears that they don’t have a future at Naturena.
With both players currently free agents, Komphela was able to take a look at the duo prior to the club’s current pre-season camp, however, neither travelled with the team as they prepare for the Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup.
The crew spoke to Faustino Mukandila, Traore’s representative, who confirmed that the Malian international had decided not to continue his trial and will instead look at some of the other options on his table.
Mukandila said, “Mahamadou has stopped training with Kaizer Chiefs now, he won’t be signing there. He was training for a while and we think that Steve Komphela liked him, but the club wanted to look at him for even longer and he decided that he would rather look at more concrete offers that he has on the table.”
Chiefs have already confirmed the signing of Teenage Hadebe, Philani Zulu and Bhongolethu Jayiya, however, they are believed to be closing in on some other targets as well.
