Kjell Jonevret interview

Former Orlando Pirates Head Coach, Kjell Jonevret, resigned after a difficult four-month stint with the Mayfair-based club. Chatting to Soccer Laduma’s Peter du Toit and Zola Doda, the Swedish mentor opened up about his experience with the Buccaneers.

MTN8 2nd semi-final preview

The second leg of the MTN8 WAFA WAFA tournament is set to take place this weekend where there will be two giants remaining to contend for the prize money. Soccer Laduma’s editor, Vuyani Joni talks to the key players from the four participating teams.

Also in issue 1039…

Alexandre Revoredo poster

Alexandre Revoredo won the hearts of many players, as well as supporters in the local football scene. The Brazilian goalkeeper coach was first introduced to South Africans in 2007 when he was appointed by AmaZulu. Since then, he joined the likes of Golden Arrows, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. After the sudden passing of Revoredo, the soccer community shared their heartfelt condolences to the man that had impacted on their lives.

Sedwyn George interview

Ajax Cape Town scooped last season’s National First Division top goal scorer, Sedwyn George during the July/August transfer window. Soccer Laduma’s Celine Abrahams chatted to the striker on joining the Urban Warriors and getting a feel of playing in the PSL.

Roggert Nyundu interview

New Bloemfontein Celtic striker, Roggert Nyundu made a bold statement when he revealed that he wanted to net 25 goals for the season, and he has already begun putting the ball into the back of the net. Speaking to Soccer Laduma’s Celine Abrahams, the 29-year-old shares his views on his team, as well as players being exploited.

International transfer wrap

The international window has come to a close and has left the supporters with much excitement and anticipation for the season ahead. Soccer Laduma’s Kurt Buckerfield recaps the windows biggest transfer talking points.

NFD interview

Soccer Laduma’s Peter Raath chats to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila’s new GM, Joel Masutha about the technical team, as well as Kosta Papic.

Revolving column

Siyagobhoza

In this week’s Siya round-up, the crew reveal the frontrunner to be added to Mamelodi Sundowns’ technical team, Kaizer Chiefs could terminate the contract of a defender, and Orlando Pirates could still land one of their transfer targets, as well as much, much more!

I would like to challenge Soccer Laduma to go 3 issues without a Kaizer Chiefs line on the cover. Honestly there's nothing interesting about my team and SL is just wasting space for more interesting teams with serious news not fairy tales. The only thing that can help Chiefs is to change the transfer policy, fire the current scouting team and start buying top class players and stop waiting for free agents. Below par free agents on top of it. K4L
