Zuma’s Promise After Penning Amakhosi Deal
Dumisani Zuma Has Explained His Decision To Join Kaizer Chiefs
Dumisani Zuma has promised that he will help Kaizer Chiefs win trophies this season after penning a three-year contract with his grandmother’s favourite club.
The 22-year-old put pen to paper on a long-term deal with the Glamour Boys this week and was spotted training with the club on Thursday morning prior to the club officially announcing him as a new signing.
Speaking to the Amakhosi’s official website after signing, Zuma explained that his family are life-long Chiefs supporters and that he’s joined the club in order to win things.
He said, “It’s a great feeling to be at Chiefs and to have trained with the squad for the first time this morning… My whole family supports Kaizer Chiefs. My parents, my one brother, my grandmother and my aunt.
“I promise the supporters that I want to help Chiefs win trophies this coming season.”
Zuma has played 63 games in all competitions for Bloemfontein Celtic since making his debut, scoring three goals and bagging six assists across the last two seasons. In 2016/17 he made 13 Absa Premiership starts and six substitute appearances.
