“First of all, I would like to thank the people of Cape Town for coming out and making this game what it was today. It was an unbelievable spectacle and I knew Cape Town always had it in them, but I didn’t expect the turnout was going to be like this,” McCarthy told the media.
“Yeah just for people supporting South African football, it was a wonderful display and that made it possible for us to win this game nicely as well,” he added.
