Cape Town City Issue Update On Winger’s Injury
Cape Town City issued an update on one of their star wingers who underwent surgery on his knee earlier this month.
Aubrey Ngoma sustained an injury to his knee while on duty for the South African national team, where he thereafter was admitted for surgery in the Mother City.
The club has since confirmed on their official Twitter account that the 27-year-old has been given the clear to get off his crutches, with indications that the player will soon be set to undergo full rehabilitation.
Despite talk of the player’s future at the 2016 Telkom Knockout champions next season, Ngoma will be eager to make a full recovery and return to training as he looks to push on from where he left off in the 2016/17 campaign.
Ngoma scooped the 2016/17 Absa Premiership Midfielder of the Season and the Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament accolade at the annual PSL awards ceremony which was held earlier this month.
