Hammersdale born Mazibuko (22) has previously been on the books of Supersport United, Vasco Da Gama and FC Cape Town.
AmaZulu General Manager, Lunga Sokhela confirmed signing two of the young students into the first team squad after impressing during a week-long training camp which ended with a friendly match against Jomo Cosmos on Sunday.
Towering striker, Somila Ntsundwayo (21) and attacking midfielder, Phillip Ndlondlo (22) will both form part of Joey Antipas’ first team while defender Aubrey Ndukwane (22) will be loaned to the club’s reserve side.
“They are young players who can be very good players in future, and we’re excited to welcome them to AmaZulu.
“Skhumbuzo Mazibuko on the (other) hand is a winger that plays with a lot of confidence on the ball and he has been exposed to National First Division and Absa Premiership football,” Sokhela told AmaZulu website.
As confirmed on the club’s website, Roggert Nyundu, Stevey Nzambe and Luyanda Hlongwa have been released by the club. Usuthu is in negotiations about parting ways with Tumelo Letuka.
