Ajax Snap Up Another Signing

Ajax Cape Town Have Signed Morne Nel From SuperSport United

Ajax Cape Town completed the signing of Morne Nel on loan from SuperSport United, with the move being confirmed by his parent club.

The Siya crew reported last week that Ajax was believed to be on the verge of signing the 21-year-old midfielder after he spent some time on trial there and it now appears that the deal has been done.

Nel didn’t manage to play a single league game in the 2016/17 season as he fell down the pecking order behind the likes of Dean Furman and Reneilwe Letsholonyane, and the club’s new head coach, Eric Tinkler, believes that the game time in Cape Town will be good for the South African youth international.

Tinkler told the crew, “Morne is an extremely talented boy who’s struggling to get into the line up and we felt that he needed game time, so he’s gone on loan to Ajax.”

Meanwhile, the club’s CEO, Stan Matthews added that, while the deal has been done, it’ll be a while before Ajax fans get to see the youngster play. He said, “Morne’s gone to Ajax on loan, but he needs an operation on his groin so is probably not going to play for Ajax until about November. That deal has been done though.”

One of the boys that when he came to the picture we sang all sort of praises for his talent but so far haven't live to expectations. This is perfect time to revaitalise his career
