Phunya Sele Sele did not waste time in finding the back of the net as Mabena put them 1-0 up in the seventh minute.

City did not sit back and they searched for an equaliser, constantly in attack after 20 minutes.

Rodney Ramagalela brought Bernard Molekwa's charges level in the 28th minute as the constant pressure paid off.

Chances were few and far between after 35 minutes as both teams became cautious in their play, holding back somewhat.

Edgar Manaka nearly put Rise and Shine ahead in the 42nd minute through a headerthat sailed just over the bar following a cross by Jabulani Maluleke.

Lentshane Phalane had a chance for Celtic in the 56th minute but his drive from just outside the box went slightly off target.

The tempo of the match picked up after 65 minutes with City dominating play going forward.

However, Celtic restored their lead in the 7st minute with Mabena grabbing his second goal of the encounter.

Deon Hotto an opportunity to seal the match for the visitors in the 88th minute following a counter-attack but his curling shot missed slightly wide, as the clash ended 2-1.

Siwelele will once again force coaches to get fired. We are once again not going to over optimistic and claim the PSL title. The only certainty is our usual 5th sport. The so called big teams beware.

@machithazonke : it's either Chiefs scouts are blind or really Chiefs don't have money . Chiefs need quick fix like Mabena but they said (together with supporters ) that Mabhena is 30 years old . We need a striker to assist Paez even if he'll last for 6 months as long as (during that 6 months) he scores at least 6 goals .
