Chippa United stretched their winless run in the Absa Premiership to four matches, after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Bloemfontein Celtic.
The opening exchanges of the match was cagey, with both teams still trying to find their rhythm.
Ndumiso Mabena had the first real opportunity of the game in the 21st minute but his outstretched leg inside the box could not connect with a good low cross from Deon Hotto.
After half-an-hour Teboho Moloi's charges were enjoying a lot of possession but could not create clear cut goalscoring opportunities.
Moeketsi Sekola was unlucky in the 38th minute after his header hit the top of the crossbar following a corner from Kurt Lentjies as the first stanza ended goalless.
Veselin Jelusic's troops increased the tempo of their play in the second half, looking the more likely to score going into the hour-mark.
Mabena came close to breaking the deadlock in the 71st minute but his header from inside the box missed narrowly wide following a set-piece from Hotto.
Lerato Manzini crashed his shot against the upright in the 86th minute with the Chilli Boys breaking out with pace upfront.
The hosts were bursting out with pace going forward in the closing minutes but Siwelele survived the onslaught.
