Victor Obinna netted his first Absa Premiership goal as Cape Town City recorded a 2-0 win over Ajax Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Urban Warriors went close after 27 minutes through Roderick Kabwe's free-kick that was tipped over by Sage Stephens.
City eventually broke the deadlock on 34 minutes as Victor Obinna latched onto a pass from Ayanda Patosi before firing past Petersen from close range.
