Komphela To Reshuffle As Star Suspended
Willard Katsande Is Suspended For Kaizer Chiefs This Weekend
Steve Komphela will have to make a plan to do without Willard Katsande this weekend as the Zimbabwean midfielder serves a suspension.
Katsande picked up his fourth yellow card of the season during the 0-0 draw with Golden Arrows on Saturday, and will now be forced to miss the clash with Baroka as the Amakhosi look to get back to winning ways.
The 31-year-old has only missed 16 games out of a possible 156 since the start of the 2012/13 season and is one of the first names on the teamsheet under Komphela after making a name for himself during Stuart Baxter’s time at the club.
It remains to be seen who will start in place of Katsande as the Glamour Boys welcome Bakgaga to Durban at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday night, although they could be worried by the fact that they haven’t won any of the last four league games that he has missed.
