Orlando Pirates Youngster Linked With Overseas
Orlando Pirates’ Lyle Foster is believed to have attracted interest from overseas, according to sources.
The newly promoted youngster is said to have attracted interest from Germany. Foster impressed during his performances for the South African U20 national team during the recent tri-nations tournament in England.
According to sources, scouts linked with Germany were following Foster’s progress with Amajita in England. The scouts are understood to have been impressed with the youngster’s performance. However, the player has since been promoted to the first team at Bucs, and it remains to be seen if there will be any follow-up interest in him from overseas.
Foster made his official PSL debut when he came on as a second half substitute during the match between Pirates and Maritzburg United on Friday.
It is clear that the player has admirers from outside of Mzansi, as it was the admiration of Bucs management which led to the 17-year-old's promotion to the first team two weeks ago.
