Orlando Pirates In Dispute Over A Midfielder
Orlando Pirates and Jomo Cosmos are still involved in a dispute over the services of a player, Lindokuhle Mtshali.
The player is linked to both Pirates and Cosmos. As reported in edition 1033 of Soccer Laduma, the matter involving Mtshali is expected to be ironed out.
KwaZulu-Natal talent scout, Teboho Moloi, has informed the Siya crew that the matter will be discussed with the two clubs.
“I just want clarity on what’s happening with my boy. I’m not an agent but scouted Mtshali at the age of 14. For the past five years, he’s been living at my house but “disappeared” at the time when Pirates wanted him. After maybe three weeks or so when I eventually managed to track him down, he told me that somebody allegedly made him sign two contracts.
“So the issue here is, there are people – whether they’re coaches, players’ managers or agents – who’re allegedly misleading the youngster.
“These guys showed him big money but he’s received nothing, while others benefitted financially. People, who were looking to gain money out of him, have left the teenager in trouble. It won’t help to hide the story of how this whole thing’s affected the player.
“Remember, he even boycotted a few Kings’ games due to serious money issues when they decided not to give him a signing-on fee. That’s because Kings regarded Mtshali as a Buccaneer.
“I need to respect Orlando Pirates. They’re a big brand and I will be talking to them,” said Moloi.
