Bucs Defender On Arrows Radar
Orlando Pirates Defender Attracts Golden Arrows In
As reported in the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, Orlando Pirates defender Marc van Heerden has attracted interest from Golden Arrows.
With clubs around the PSL adding reinforcements to their respective squads in anticipation of the 2017/18 season, sources have indicated to the Siya crew that Van Heerden finished the season being monitored at Arrows.
The Buccaneers have started the process of making squad changes in line with their plans for a better 2017/18 season as compared to the past campaign.
Already, Bucs have confirmed signing Thamsanqa Sangweni from Chippa United, as well as Wayne Sandilands who has joined the club as a free agent, after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of his contract.
According to sources close to Bucs, Abafana Bes’thende would welcome the opportunity of having Van Heerden on their team sheet, if he is to be available for a move in this transfer window.
The club is said to be willing to bring the player back to KwaZulu-Natal, following his departure from AmaZulu last year.
