Pirates & Enyimba Yet To Agree On Nigerian’s Transfer Fee?

Orlando Pirates Are Apparently Yet To Finalise Christian Obiozor's Move

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 21, 2017 12:34 PM
News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates still need to conclude the paperwork for the signing of Christian Obiozor, though they have already announced the player’s signing.

As reported by the Siya crew in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, Obizor does still have a contract with Enyimba that runs until 2020, suggesting that a fee will be paid for his services ahead of the new season.

Given the fact that Pirates announced the move already it was presumed that a fee had been agreed with Enyimba prior to his transfer and that the matter had been settled.

Now, however, the crew has been led to believe that Pirates and Enyimba are yet to come to an agreement regarding the financials of the move, although the Buccaneers were given permission to assess the Nigerian and agree to personal terms.

The source explained, “The deal isn't finalised yet, at least financially. The player has undergone a medical and all, as Enyimba gave Pirates permission to speak with him, however, the financial aspects aren't done.

“Enyimba was prepared to lodge a complaint with CAF, but Pirates quickly explained the situation to defuse. Talks between the two clubs have now been lined up soon in order to settle on a fee.”

Pirates and Enyimba are expected to finalise this matter in the near future, with the 22-year-old – who played in a friendly against Polokwane City today – eager to try and get his career back on track after a difficult couple of years with Enyimba.

This story has no substance, cowditor just met a drunk Nigerian on the streets and interviewed him. If it was Enyimba who said they were not paid I would believe it but cowditor is just reporting a baseless story from an unknown source who might not even exist. I bet this is the same source who once told cowditor that Arsenal want to sign Khune and Everton want to replace Pienaar with Shabba.

The same happen when Pirates sign that Nigeria goalkeeper, we were told Pirates sign him without his team's permition. But we never heard when and how much Pirates paid. So i take this as false news.

if we can't give a player who scored 17 goals a chance what makes us think this guy will just walk through Gabuza's muthi? or Sangweni hrough Saar's muthi? gyma, mobara, maselesa and Shitolo were all exciting players just like Sangweni, but they can't bench a cow like Saar, either THose cows bounce or we get a coach who knows how to father big players
