Maritzburg United Assess Former Platinum Stars Player

Tintswalo ‘Scorpion’ Tshabalala has surfaced at Maritzburg United for training with the team.

Tshabalala is in search of a new club for the upcoming season, as he is currently unattached. The experienced player parted ways with Platinum Stars at the end of his contract in June.

The Team of Choice is having a look at the Chiawelo-born player, with a view of adding him to Fadlu Davids’ squad for the new campaign.

Some of the players signed by the KZN outfit thus far during this transfer window include Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori, former Bidvest Wits goalkeeper Jethren Barr, as well as Australian midfielder, Liam Youlley.

Mamelodi Sundowns have snapped up the services of talented Cape Town youngster Giovanni Philander on a permanent basis.
