Chiefs Pull Out Of Striker Race?
Kaizer Chiefs Seem To Have Decided Against Signing Ndumiso Mabena
Kaizer Chiefs look to have pulled out of the race to sign Ndumiso Mabena, opting against bringing in the former Orlando Pirates striker.
The striker, who turned 30 in May, is currently a free agent after the decision not to renew his contract in Phokeng and look for a new move elsewhere.
While the ex-Buccaneer is wanted by some people at Chiefs, the Siya crew has been informed that a collective decision has been made not to pursue his signature because of his age.
It was recently reported by the crew that Bloemfontein Celtic, who had a dismal record in front of goal last season, had shown an interest in landing Mabena, and it is thought that they now lead the race for his signature after Chiefs dropped out of the running.

The Amakhosi have already made three signings for the new season, in Teenager Hadebe, Philani Zulu and Bhongolethu Jayiya, and are expected to announce some others in the future as they continue to bolster their squad for the new season.
