Argentine Set For Two-Year Chiefs Deal?
Jonatan Philippe Looks To Be Close To Joining Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be closing in on signing Jonatan Philippe, with the Argentine striker thought to have agreed a two-year deal in principle with the club.
The Siya crew reported recently that the 29-year-old could be close to joining the Amakhosi after agreeing terms on a deal prior to a possible move, however at this point there has still not been anything finalised or signed.
Siya sources close to the club have explained that the former Boca Juniors man is likely to put pen to paper on a two-year deal if all goes well in the coming days, and there is a possibility that he could feature in this weekend’s Premier’s Cup against Chippa United.
As previously reported, Arnaldo Gomes has now stopped training with the Glamour Boys after failing to impress Steve Komphela, however Darren Lurie is still under assessment as he tries to land himself a contract with the club.
