FS Stars Struggle For Their Coaching Target?
Free State Stars Confirm Technical Team Adjustments
News reaching the Siya crew is that Belgian coach, Jean Luscuito, could struggle to make the switch from Black Leopards to Free State Stars, during the July/August transfer window.
The Siya crew revealed that the Belgian tactician has been earmarked for a coaching role at Ea Lla Koto. Having parted ways with Serame Letsoaka, Stars are expected to announce a new head coach, with an indication from sources close to the Bethlehem club being that Luscuito is a primary target for the role.
However, it has emerged that Leopards could be reluctant to part ways with Luscuito, who led Leopards to the promotion/relegation play-offs after being in his role for a short period.
The coach joined Lidoda Duvha in November last year, with the team lying in position 13 on the NFD log at the time. He guided the side to finish the season in second place on the NFD standings, behind winners, Thanda Royal Zulu.
“The Black Leopards coach could struggle to leave the club for Free State Stars. He has a contract with Leopards. Leopards are keen to keep him as their coach for next season,” said the source.
In the meantime, Stars confirmed the appointment of Selaotse ‘Sly’ Mosala to their technical team as an assistant coach. He joins David Vilakazi, who is also an assistant coach at the club. Stars are expected to announce a new head coach in due course.
