Jampies was released from Celtic in November last year, following his exit from the Mangaung club, the player spent time training with Stellenbosch FC.

He was also linked with Milano United, prior to the end of last season. The left back has been given an opportunity to train with Ea Lla Koto under their newly appointed coach, Luc Eymael.

“Free State Stars are looking for a left back to fill the gap opened with the departure of Simphiwe Mtsweni, who has since joined AmaZulu. Cheslyn Jampies has been given a chance to train with the team. He will be hoping to impress Luc Eymael and his technical team,” said the source.
