Ex-Chiefs Trialist Now At Sundowns
Former Kaizer Chiefs Trialist At Mamelodi Sundowns
Kaizer Chiefs was his first stop when he arrived in South Africa in search for a club, but Zimbabwean midfielder, Tanaka Chinyahara, has now surfaced at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Chiefs had Chinyahara on trial with Steve Komphela’s team earlier this month, as reported by the Siya crew.
The 21-year-old was, however, not signed by the Soweto giants who opted to bring in his countryman in defender Teenage Hadebe, as well as Philani Zulu and Bhongolethu Jayiya.
Chinyahara has now arrived in Chloorkop, with a view of joining Downs’ first team in their training.
“Tanaka Chinyahara at Mamelodi Sundowns. He is the player who was on trial with Chiefs. He is now at Sundowns. He trained with the MDC team while waiting to be given the go ahead to join the first team in their training when they return from the off-season break,” a source confirmed to the Siya crew.
Chinyahara is currently unattached to a club after parting ways with Hobro in Denmark.
