Former Dikwena Duo Still Clubless
Club Search Ongoing For Former Dikwena Duo
Two former Platinum Stars players, Tintswalo Tshabalala and Solomon Mathe are still clubless.
The experienced duo parted ways with Dikwena at the end of their contracts in June.
The two players were allowed to leave the North West outfit at the end of their deals, as part of the team’s changes under Peter Butler, who has since been relieved of his coaching duties at the club.
Tshabalala was recently at Maritzburg United for training. However, the 34-year-old was not offered a deal, after training with the KZN side. The Siya crew has been informed that the Chiawelo-born player has also been interested in a move to either Polokwane City or AmaZulu, who have his former coach Cavin Johnson in charge.
Both Tshabalala and Mathe were influential in helping Dikwena to make the progress the team made in recent seasons, during their time with the club.
The two players are keen to continue playing in the PSL.
