Celtic Plan To Tie Down Bucs Target
Bloemfontein Celtic Reluctant To Part With Orlando Pirates Target
Bloemfontein Celtic aim to tie down Musa Nyatama amid the interest from Orlando Pirates.
As reported by the Siya crew, Nyatama is one of the players identified by Pirates for a potential move to the club in this transfer window.
However, Celtic are keen on tying down their influential midfielder on a new contract, as indicated by sources within the Mangaung outfit. Pirates have made enquiries into Nyatama’s contract situation.
The player currently has another year on his contract, meaning that Pirates need to negotiate a transfer fee with Celtic if they are to conclude a deal.
Celtic do not seem keen on selling the player and according to an insider in the Celtic camp, there has been mention of the 29-year-old penning a new deal with Siwelele, following Bucs’ interest.
“Musa Nyatama has one year still on his contract with Bloemfontein Celtic. He is keen to stay on with the club if they keep (offer) him on new long-term contract,” said the source.
Bucs have also shown an interest in Alfred Ndengane from Celtic, however, there is a new twist to the tale.
“They (Pirates) have also been keen on Ndengane. But now that they have signed Sangweni, it’s unlikely that they will focus on pursuing Ndengane. It is proving to be difficult to get (sign) him,” concluded the source.
