Wits’ Latest Signing, SA U20 Starlet Secured
Bidvest Wits Sign South African U20 Starlet
South Africa’s reigning league champions in top flight football, Bidvest Wits, have made yet another signing, with the addition of Kobamelo Kodisang to the squad.
The South African youth international has grown in leaps and bounds at Platinum Stars under former coach, Cavin Johnson, in the last few months.
It was under the mentorship of Johnson that Kodisang was promoted to the Dikwena first team and made his PSL debut at the age of 15.
The Seraleng-born player, who was at the U20 FIFA World Cup in South Korea in May this year, has been signed by Wits to join Gavin Hunt’s squad for the 2017/18 season.
“Kobamelo Kodisang has signed for Wits. It's a done deal. He is a talented youngster who is very disciplined and is a quick learner," a source confirmed to the Siya crew.
The Students have already signed former Bafana Bafana midfielder, Steven Pienaar and Daylon Claasen, as well as Montenegrin defender, Slavko Damjanovic, so far in this transfer window.
Kodisang has joined the likes of Solomon Mathe, Tintswalo Tshabalala and Ndumiso Mabena on the list of players leaving Dikwena.
