AmaZulu Targeting Two More Strikers For PSL Return
Siyabonga Nomvethe and Mabhuti Khenyeza, as well as the rest of the AmaZulu squad, could be joined by two more strikers ahead of the new season if all goes according to plan for the KwaZulu-Natal club.
AmaZulu identified Bonginkosi Ntuli and Mhlengi Cele as potential signings for the 2017/18 season. As reported on the Soccer Laduma website, Ntuli is wanted by Usuthu for their return to Mzansi’s topflight.
The striker is currently contracted to Mamelodi Sundowns. Cele who finished the 2016/17 season with 19 league goals to his name at Thanda Royal Zulu, is another striker targeted by Usuthu for the upcoming season.
The Durban-based club has already signed the sought-after defender, Ayabulela Konqobe.
Former Free State Stars defender Sadat Ouro-Akoriko, Sduduzo Dlamini, Siyabonga Mbatha and Jabulani Ncobeni from Thanda, as well as Siyethemba Mnguni from Mbombela United, have also been added to Coach Joey Antipas’ squad.
