Bafana Man Awaiting Next Euro Move

Lehlogonolo Masalesa Is Looking For His Next Move In Europe

By Soccer Laduma - Jun 27, 2017 12:55 PM
Bafana Bafana midfielder, Lehlogonolo Masalesa, is currently assessing his options as he ponders his next move in Europe after deciding to leave AE Larissa.

The 25-year-old impressed during his spell with the Greek club since joining them earlier this year and it is thought that they were keen on him extending his spell there following a string of fine performances.

‘Vieira’ played 14 games for the club as he played a big role in them avoiding the drop and is said to have attracted interest from elsewhere in Greece as well as some other destinations in Europe.

The Siya crew got in contact with Siyavuma Sports Group, who look after the player and they confirmed that he had decided to look for a ‘more permanent’ move in Europe.

They said, “Vieira went to Larissa on a short-term deal and did very well there, helping them stay in the division. It was always only a short-term move and now we’re looking for him to move to something more permanent. We’re currently assessing his options.”

Masalesa is currently in camp with Bafana for the COSAFA Cup after being selected by new head coach, Stuart Baxter.

I am afraid with this kind of talk, Masalesa is returning to the PSL. If that is the case i will be very disappointed bcz he should be moving to France or Portugal, even in Greece there are still good teams.
