R6.4m Could Secure Jali Move
Andile Jali Could Be Bought For As Little As R6.4m
Andile Jali’s potential suitors may only have to stump up around R6.4 million in return for his signature, with KV Oostende open to the prospect of letting him leave.
The 27-year-old had a difficult season in Belgium in 2016/17, making just 12 starts throughout the course of the campaign as he fell down the pecking order under Yves Vanderhaeghe, prompting talk about his future.
Now, according to Siya sources in Belgium, it is thought that that Oostende is looking for around €450,000 if they are to consider selling the Bafana Bafana international, a loss on what they paid Orlando Pirates in 2014 – a figure believed to have been R15 million.
Mamelodi Sundowns are known to be keen on the tough-tackling midfielder with Pitso Mosimane a big fan of his, while Jali’s former club, the Buccaneers, would also welcome him back with open arms if a deal could be done.
Jali has previously stated that he still wants to remain in Europe for the foreseeable future after impressing in his first two-and-a-half seasons with Oostende and at this point, it remains to be seen whether any club will be able to tempt him back to South Africa.
