Eric Tinkler's charges were involved in MT8 Cup action over the weekend, as they defeated Maritzburg United 2-0 in the semi-final.

The last time SuperSport were involved in league action, they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-1.

Stars, on the other, have had a tough start to the season, losing both their opening encounters to Marirzburg United and Platinum Stars.

Dikwena will also be under new management, as Roger De Sa has taken over as head coach following the departure of Peter Butler.

If my memory serves me well Open net Pieterse left Chiefs because he wanted to play regularly but I see him on the bench since the beginning of the season.
