Ratings:

Denis Onyango: 6/10

Was solid whenever he was called upon, but could do nothing for Wydad's opening goal. He did also save a penalty in the shoot-out.

Thapelo Morena: 6/10

Put in a solid showing defensively, and did well to add numbers going forward in the second half.

Motjeka Madisha: 6.5/10

The communication was lacking when Saidi scored Wydad's goal in the first half, but he was impressive for the rest of the match.

Wayne Arendse: 6.5/10

There was a mix-up for Wydad's opening goal, but much like Madisha, Arendse was very solid before being replaced in the 88th minute.

Tebogo Langerman: 6.5/10

Langerman was quiet going forward but he put in a good shift defensively, as he also pulled off a goal-saving block in the first half.

Hlompho Kekana: 6/10

Did well to protect the back four, but he squandered a glorious chance in the second half.

Tiyani Mabunda: 6/10

Mabunda put in a solid showing in the middle of the park and did not allow Sundowns to get overrun.

Themba Zwane: 6/10

Worked hard off the ball for most of the match, but he was a bit quiet going forward.

Oupa Manyisa: 6/10

Manyisa did carve out Sundowns' best chance of the game in the second half, but was largely quiet throughout.

Khama Billiat: 6/10

The Zimbabwean spent most of the chasing the ball due to Wydad's dominance, which led to a frustrating night.

Percy Tau: 6.5/10

Still looked like Sundowns' liveliest player whenever he did get on the ball, but he was well-marshalled by the Wydad defence.

Subsitutes:

Yannick Zakri: 5/10

Replaced Zwane midway through the second half, but did not have the same impact as he did in the first leg.

KBY, Izinja zegame, do not worry, Soccer Laduma has a trophy for you! It was a mere luck that Dunusa entered this competition through backdoor, in all fairness the plastic star you have does not count, it is worthless like having no star! No one get pass through Wydad amaDada,

Even last time. They came from the back door and won. Only Pirates won it legitimately. I am a Chiefs though.

Pitso lost it by changing the strike force. Percy and Khama never had a shot on goal. We lost to a very weak team. I hope Pitso starts using more of players with the team at heart. Let Khama go. Use Castro more.

None from the rankings above fall below 5/10 (they're all above average), my question is how on earth these players fail to score? Dunusas were overrated hence they've lost. Lebese is not listed on these rankings, why? is he below average? he chased for game time, so he must deliver, we have not seen antthing yet from Griezman

Despite the pressure & harsh circumstances they were faced. They have done us proud, caf should act against such bad behaviour displayed by opponent's fans! It's bad for football poor behaviour...
