After going down 3-0 with 15 minutes to go in the match, Banyana produced one of the great comebacks of all time in football as they scored three goals to force a penalty shootout against their opponents.

Leandra Smeda spearheaded the comeback for Banyana as she scored two goals, with the other striker coming from Rhoda Mulaudzi.
