Baxter Calls Up Chiefs Striker As Bafana's Chan Squad Unveiled
Stuart Baxter Has Named His Squad To Face Botswana This Month
Stuart Baxter has named his Bafana Bafana squad to do battle with Botswana in this month's African Nations Championship qualifiers.
The first leg of the tie between the two teams will take place this weekend, with both South Africa and the Zebras looking to gain the upper hand as they seek to take one step closer to bagging a place at Chan 2018.
Bafana will travel to Francistown this weekend for David Bright's first game in charge of Botswana following Peter Butler's exit for Platinum Stars, with the return leg taking place a week later at Moruleng Stadium.
Baxter was forced to make several changes to his squad from the COSAFA Cup due to clubs being unwilling to release players as they prepare for the new season, although some players did stay with the team having won the COSAFA Cup Plate final last week.
