Da Gama’s Words After Bafana Loss

Owen Da Gama’s Words After Bafana Bafana Loss

By Soccer Laduma - Sep 06, 2017 02:49 PM

Former Bafana Bafana assistant coach has revealed his devastation following the South African national team’s two-legged loss against Cape Verde in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Bafana suffered defeat in both their clashes against Cape Verde in the World Cup qualifiers, which have slimmed, if not, cancelled out the country’s chances of qualifying for a spot in the prestigious competition set to take place in Russia next year.

As reported earlier on the Soccer Laduma website, former South African national U23 team head coach, Da Gama confirmed that he and the association amicably agreed to part ways, however, shared his thoughts on Bafana’s result against Cape Verde.

“I’m totally devastated and disappointed after beating Senegal and drawing with Burkina Faso. After all our hard work, we went and lost to Cape Verde away and at home,” he told the Siya crew.

“However, I wish Stuart Baxter everything of the best going forward,” he added.

You are not alone in that Owen,we as the South Africans feel so flabbergasted as well and the man in charge must be ashamed of himself together with his drunken handlers.

Bayafana-Bayafana deserve to play in ranks with the likes of Lesotho, Namibia, Mozambique, Zwaziland and the likes of Botswana...after all, they would embarrass african continent with their sisies style. NO STAMINA-NO VISION OF THE GAME-NO STYLE-NO BRAND OF FOOTBALL TO PLAY BUT MIX EUROPEAN, RUGBY AND CRICKET STYLES ALL IN ONE...and they keep getting FAT!...even ZIDANE cannot win anything with the lame players like these. Mbalula was right....You bunch of......LO...Ok...henefho!

Baxter's selection was fatal and proving more and more that the old man is near retirement, SAFA needs to act swiftly or else our players will end up choosing to represent foreign countries like french players
