Bafana were dealt a blow last week, September 01, after suffering defeat in the first leg of the qualifiers, however, following the 0-0 draw between Senegal and Burkina Faso, the South African national team were awarded a lifeline.

Baxter’s charges will now play their second leg against Cape Verde at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban today and the Englishman has since named his official line-up for the clash.

Here is how Bafana will be lining up:

Sandilands (G), Gould, Hlatshwayo, Hlanti, Mphahlele, Furman, Kekana, Zwane, Dolly, Grobler, Rantie

Imagine cows like Gould, Mphahlele, Hlanti, Furman and Grobler playing in the world cup! Ha ha ha ha this country is cursed, we will never qualify for any major tournament anytime soon. Maybe we must investigate if the Guptas are not involved with this whole mess.

This line up was meant for the away game , Kekana and Furman in the middle too defensive ! As for Grobbler and Rantie I don't understand. Time for big animals ended with Paul Dolezer. Grobbler should be Rantie's replacement and Tau or Erasmus should have started in Grobbler's place . Good luck regardless .

I see this lineup is a defensive one. Kekana and Furman both play deeply. I would've love to see one attacking and one defensive central midfielder. Maybe Makojo in front of Kekana or Furman. But anyway good luck boys.

How on earth can Baxter play Kekana & Furman on the same side? Those two got the similar approach to the Game & I think Grobler & Rantie will be the best striking force for the South Africa.

Baxter love to be defensive. look this line up; Sandilands (G), Gould, Hlatshwayo, Hlanti, Mphahlele, Furman, Kekana, Zwane, Dolly, Grobler, Rantie. Both Kekana and Furman play defensive in the middle, why Jali couldn't start than Furman. We will see a Draw again.

@Vongani!, quite frankly, I don't care whether Bafana Bafana win or lose. Our football is full of politics.
