Dino Ndlovu: If We Don’t Believe We Can Make It To Russia, Then It’s Useless
Bafana Bafana international, Dino Ndlovu, says that it will be useless for the South African national team to play this weekend if they don't believe that there is hope of making it to Russia.
The South African national team will host Burkina Faso on Saturday, October 07, at the FNB Stadium in a must-win 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying encounter for Stuart Baxter’s side.
Although it will take more than just claiming maximum points in the country’s upcoming three qualifying encounters in order to book a spot in next year’s prestigious competition, South African international, Ndlovu, believes that the current players in the Bafana squad will be able to step up to the task.
“It’s always an honour to don the jersey of Bafana Bafana, if we didn’t believe that we can make it to Russia then it is useless for us to be playing this coming game this weekend and I think with the players in the national team, we have great players that can step up and give us three points this coming weekend,” the 27-year-old told the media.
