Burkina Faso 2-2 Senegal
 
Burkina Faso and Senegal missed the chance to pull clear at the top of Group D after they played out a 2-2 draw on Tuesday evening.
 
Betrand Traore opened the scoring for the hosts after nine minutes, before Senegal hit back Ismalia Sarr and Sadio Mane hit back for Senegal.
 
However, Burkina Faso rescued a point thanks to an 88th minute own goal from Pape Seydou N'Diaye.
 
Ivory Coast  1-2 Gabon
 
Ivory Coast missed the chance to pull clear at the top of C after they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Gabon on Tuesday evening.
 
Axel Meye and Mario Lemina put the visitors 2-0 up inside the opening 30 minutes, while Maxwel Cornet bagged what proved to be a consolation in the 58th minute.
 
Congo DR 2-2Tunisia
 
Congo DR missed the chance to move top in Group A, after they threw away a two-goal lead to draw with Tunisia, who remain at the summit.
 
Congo 1-5 Ghana
 
Ghana kept their qualifying hopes alive after thumping Congo 5-1 at the Stade de l’Unite on Tuesday evening.

Egypt 1-0 Uganda

Algeria 0-1 Zambia
 
Zambia kept their World Cup hopes alive after defeating Algeria 1-0 at the Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui.
 
Patson Daka's struck the game's winning goal in the 67th minute, which sees them move three points behind leaders, Nigeria.

I salute Zambia, Cape Verde, Ghana and Gabon for their maximum points collections. Zambia and Gabon proved to be better after edged Africa's top rated Ivory Coast and Algeria.
