The home side broke the deadlock after 10 minutes courtesy of a thumping strike from Mesut Ozil.

The lead was doubled after 17 minutes as Ozil turned provider to pick out Julian Draxler, who slotted into the bottom corner from close range.

6-0 was how the score remained as the World Champions maintain top spot in Group C.

Bafana should be doing exactly that to minnows. Punish the opposition ruthlessly to make a statement, they perform better with quality teams, otherwise we won't qualify for future tournaments
