Reports: Chelsea Clear AWOL Diego Costa's Locker & Remove His Car From Training Ground

Chelsea have reportedly ordered that Diego Costa's locker be cleared out and his car removed from the first team parking lot at the club's training facility.

The 28-year-old, who has been AWOL for the first month of the campaign, was deemed surplus to requirements after Antonio Conte told him he is no longer needed at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Sun, the Chelsea board has ordered staff to clean out the striker's locker and requested that his car be moved to the youth team bays on the other side of the building.

It has been claimed that Costa left his white Range Rover in the first team car park at the end of last season before jetting out to Brazil on holiday.

Since the fallout with Conte, the Brazilian-born star has refused to return to training, and has claimed that Chelsea have treated him like a "criminal".

Reports in Spain suggest that Costa has returned to London and will hold talks with the reigning Premier League champions over the next few days in order to try to negotiate a move to Atletico Madrid in January.

The forward was included in the Blues' 25-man Premier League squad for the season, but there are doubts as to whether he will actually play for the club again.

Removing his belongings wont be the solution todifferences that are there but Chelsea should release him from his contract even though it will become a regrettable decision in a long run
