Reports: Neymar Apologises To Paris Saint-Germain Squad
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has reportedly apologised to his new teammates after his spat with Edinson Cavani, ahead of their match against Keagan Dolly’s Montpellier.
Signs of a divide in the PSG camp came about following their French Ligue 1 match on Sunday against Lyon, where Neymar and Cavani seemed to clash over set-pieces.
Speculation regarding the Uruguayan’s future in France has also circulated, with reports suggesting the club has offered him to Real Madrid.
However, L'Equipe has now reported that the world record signing issued an apology to his PSG colleagues at training on Thursday, following his behaviour in their match against Lyon, as well as the events that followed.
It is also believed that manager Unai Emery has said that Cavani will continue as the team’s first penalty taker, and that Neymar can only stand over them if the Uruguayan gives him permission.
Les Parisians are away to Montpellier on Saturday, where they could go up against Bafana Bafana’s Dolly.
