Reports: Cristiano Ronaldo Considering Real Madrid Exit After Unfair Treatment
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is believed to be considering an exit from Los Blancos as he apparently feels he has been unfairly treated in Spain.
At the beginning of the window, there was speculation that the Portuguese was interested in leaving Real, although any transfer talk later died down.
However, El Pais has now reported that Ronaldo is once again unhappy in Spain, and that his future could be uncertain.
The Portuguese forward was handed a five-match ban for pushing a referee in a recent El Clasico against FC Barcelona, to which he has responded with anger.
Ronaldo took to Instagram to lament the decision, claiming he feels that, along with his tax evasion case, there is a conspiracy against him.
The former Manchester United then told a court that he was treated differently in England, which is believed to be at least one reason for him wanting to return to the UK.
According to the Spanish publication, an unknown source close to Ronaldo reportedly said: "For now, he's just concentrating on playing.
"He is angry about the five-game ban, but he is working just as hard with the team. However, we cannot guarantee whether he will stay or leave.
"We'll see what happens in between now and August 31."
Ronaldo has previously been linked with a move back to the Red Devils, for whom he scored 118 goals between 2003 and 2009.
