La Liga Chief: I'd Be Worried If Lionel Messi Or Cristiano Ronaldo Left, Not Neymar
La Liga president Javier Tebas has claimed he would be more worried if Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi left Spain, and insisted that they will report Paris Saint-Germain to FIFA if Neymar completes his potential move.
The Brazilian has been heavily tipped to join PSG in the coming days, but Tebas apparently feels that losing Neymar is not as much of a blow as it would be for the Spanish top flight to lose Messi or Ronaldo.
"La Liga and Barcelona are bigger than Neymar," he told Marca.
"I would be more worried if Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi left."
Tebas, however, did reveal that La Liga will report the French giants to FIFA if Neymar's deal goes through, explaining that he believes money is being injected into the club illegally.
"Even if they don't pay the release clause, we will report them," he added.
"They cannot make up some commercial numbers that are bigger than Barcelona or Real Madrid.
"Nobody believes that, which means that the state of Qatar is injecting money and that violates Financial Fair Play."
Reports suggest that Neymar could officially sign for PSG this week, having scored 105 goals in 186 games for FC Barcelona since joining them in 2013.
