French wonderkid Mbappe was excellent in Monaco's league-winning campaign last season, contributing to 40 goals in 44 matches and attracting interest from several top clubs across Europe as a result.
In goal, the 18-year-old selected Juventus and Italy veteran Gianluigi Buffon in his best ever XI, and in front of the goalkeeper, he selected Roberto Carlos, Paolo Maldini, Sergio Ramos and Cafu. Those five names alone boast 705 international appearances, with Ramos and Buffon still representing their countries today.
In Mbappe's three-man midfield, he chose current Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, who he could very well work with in the future, as well as two FC Barcelona legends in Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi.
Zidane is widely considered to be one of the beautiful game's best ever midfielders, having won the FIFA World Cup with France in 1998, while Ronaldinho won the following World Cup with Brazil in 2002. Despite having never lifted silverware on the international stage, Messi has led Argentina to three major finals, and has also won five Ballons d'Or.
In his attacking trio, Mbappe chose one of his idols from his youth, Ronaldo, on the left, while on the right-hand side of attack he chose Neymar, who, at 25 years old, is the youngest player selected by the Frenchman. Down the middle of the strikeforce is Brazil legend Ronaldo de Lima, who is still considered to be one of the best strikers to have ever played football.
