Barca's Dressing Room 'Sick' Of Neymar Antics?

FC Barcelona's Dressing Room 'Sick' Of Neymar Antics?

By David Kappel - Aug 01, 2017 02:45 PM @kappilinho

FC Barcelona stars are apparently getting "sick" of Neymar's antics, while Paris Saint-Germain's president is "very confident" of completing the world record deal.

The French giants are reportedly prepared to pay Neymar's €222 million (R3.46 billion) release clause, which would leave the Catalan giants powerless to stop the player from leaving.

It seems the Selecao star has made up his mind too, with all signs pointing to him wanting a move to Paris. However, his antics are starting to annoy his teammates, who want the transfer saga to end, according to Spanish publication Sport.

Neymar clashed with new signing Nelson Semedo in training on Friday, eventually leaving the pitch as well as the training complex, and also did not return to Barcelona with the rest of the squad following the club's US tour – the Brazilian flew out to China for some promotional events instead.

He could reportedly have a medical in Qatar this week ahead of the proposed world record move, and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed that he is happy with how talks are progressing.

"Negotiations for Neymar are going well. I'm very confident," he told Yahoo Sport France, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

Barcelona's squad certainly made efforts to convince him to stay, with players such as Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano and Lionel Messi understood to have spoken with Neymar.

The 25-year-old, though, has remained quiet over his future plans, and some of his teammates apparently believe his antics during the tour and the ongoing speculation has damaged the image of the club in the US, according to Sport.

They are  also annoyed by what Sport called the Neymar "show", and want the situation resolved as soon as possible.

What do you make of Neymar's antics during the transfer window? Have your say in the comments section below.

@smo: Shut up you don't know nothing. Everything negative about Neymar is evident for all to see. When everybody from the team including former players are asking you publicly to come out and address this situation which is weighing down on the whole team and has turned ugly because of your antics, what are we suppose to think when you don't do it soon enough ? And must we see nothing cancerous in all that ? Even when the news is spread all around the globe that "Neymar is fed up of living in Messi's shadow" he doesn't do nothing about that even though it creates perceptions about him and clearly not good for our team spirit. Then he was caught on camera behaving badly fighting a new signing and storming out of the training grounds when everybody tried to calm him down. The same behavior we witness in him towards the end of last season when he clashed with the assistant coach in front of the whole world watching. But you still see talent in all that trash ? Amazing !

@The Lecturer Cancerous? Again m not sure he is that or it's just a media creation all this stories. But then during that time when u claim the president to hv said those things he was not cancerous. Besides, bro, i will never believe that any team in their right sense would wish a player of neymars calibre away. So yes, i think barca would wish more than anything to keep Neymar..

@smo: do you believe Barça are interested in keeping a cancerous personality among them ? I believe they have now reached a point were they are praying for PSG to remove this trash among them at the same time cash in on him. But I don't think they want their objectives to be obvious to PSG. Imagine if PSG can change their minds on this. What Barça will do with a Neymar who is now a liability to the club let alone all the fans in Catalonia who don't want to see his face again ? You just exposed your poor judgment if you believe Barça wants to stop this idiot's move. That's plain stupid !

@The Lecturer not sure if he did say it but whatever the case, they r powerless to stop the move once a club pays the buyout clause(paragraph 2). So if he did say, it was just to fool some idiots n i c u fell for it..

Barca is bigger than neymer, Ronaldinho left and still Barcelona remained strong and undeniably the best. Neymer or no neymer, a star will come through to replace him.

@mabenamusa4: idiots like you need to stick to PSL. You think overseas leagues are runned like PSL ? If your mind was not filled with PSL trash then you would know that the Barca president spoke out long ago that they gave everything to Neymars hands. It's up to him to decide what he wants with his future. As a Barca faithful I say he must GO!!

@Matwalicosi two diferent cases. Messi stil has some years in Barca Camp n by the time he quit Neymer will be runing towards 30. Leo was young wen Ronaldinho left. Age was on his side. Neymer will always be the shadow. Ppl praised him an saw him as Messi replacement forgeting the age n though am CR7 fan i say it that it will take years if not a life time to have some1 greater that Leo in Nou camp

@Thierry Henry Neymar is not a cow even though he was not my favourite player. You know it and everyone knows what this guy can do but his behaviour sucks. He is not the only big player in the world to get great offers somewhere. Zidane,Maradona,Cruyf all played secured different moves previously but still respected their ex teams and ex players. He acts so stupid. This is a professional work and needs to be treated as such.

@go khosi go part 3 Neymar must also futseek and leave Barca in dignity rather than fighting other players. He is so unprofessional irrespective of his soccer talents.
