UEFA Champions League
Teams: Paris Saint-Germain vs Bayern Munich
Date: 27 September 2017
Venue: Parc des Princes, Paris
Both clubs will hope that they can return to winning ways this week, as they both recorded disappointing draws last weekend. The Parisians played to a goalless draw against Keagan Dolly’s Montpellier, while the Bavarians drew 2-2 with Wolfsburg.
Bayern go into the game having won only two out of their last eight away games in European competitions, but they do have a good record in France, as they have won their last three fixtures on French soil.
Through the years, PSG have built up a phenomenal home record in the UEFA Champions League, the Ligue 1 side has managed to lose only once in their last 43 appearances in Paris, that loss coming against FC Barcelona back in the 2014/15 season.
In team news, Bayern will be missing regular goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and defender Juan Bernat, while PSG will be without their Argentine Javier Pastore.
Here is how both teams will line up:
Paris Saint-Germain : Aréola; Dani Alves, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Kurzawa; Verratti, Motta, Rabiot; Mbappé, Cavani, Neymar.
Bayern Munich: Kimmich, Süle, Martínez, Alaba; Vidal, Thiago, Tolisso; Müller, James Rodriguez, Lewandowski.
