Reports: Thiago Silva Stopped Edinson Cavani & Neymar From Dressing Room Fight
Defender Thiago Silva reportedly had to stop Edinson Cavani and Neymar from fighting in the Paris Saint-Germain dressing room after their match on Sunday.
According to Sport, the Brazilian centre back had to separate his two teammates in the changing room after their 2-0 win over Lyon this past weekend following their disagreements during the league encounter.
The pair appeared to argue more than once over who would be talking a penalty and free-kicks, even though the Uruguayan has been the club's principal set-piece taker since Zlatan Ibrahimovic's exit from the Parc des Princes last year.
The on-field tension between Cavani and Neymar was clear for everyone to see, and even manager Unai Emery later insisted that the two attackers needed to sort things out themselves.
The South Americans' spat reportedly continued in the dressing room after the match, with Silva and other PSG players having to stop Neymar and Cavani from fighting.
Is it believed that the pair's relationship has been deteriorating in recent weeks, with Sunday night believed to come as a result of built-up tension.
